DuraStore Collaborates with NEO on DNA Origami Alignment Publication

We are excited to share a recent publication in Angewandte Chemie, where DuraStore had the opportunity to support our colleagues in the NEO project. Our team member, Boxuan Shen, contributed to this joint DigNA inter-project study, which presents a powerful new method for directing DNA nanostructures.

By simply adjusting magnesium ion (Mg²⁺) levels, the research team achieved precise, homochiral alignment of DNA origami on surfaces without the need for complex redesigns. This accessible, scalable technique is a significant step forward for nanoscale engineering and paves the way for advancements in molecular data storage and drug discovery.

This successful joint effort highlights the incredible value of the EIC DigNA Portfolio, which actively facilitates these kinds of synergistic connections between projects. We look forward to exploring future collaborations with other consortia within the portfolio to continue pushing the boundaries of DNA-based technologies!
